Such a strategy could create several issues:
- It may cheapen your brand
- It can develop a habit in your customers to only purchase goods when those are on sale or at the cheapest price
- Slashing everything gives the impression of desperation and shady. It can make your store look like its struggling financially and therefore may cause customers to lose their faith or not to trust your site
- It can reveal that the site is a dropshipping store to a knowledgeable visitor and you could lose sales
Considering those points it is not advisable to put up every item with slashed prices. The best approach would be to pick a few of your products at a time to put up on discount and rotate them on a set timeframe. There are better ways to draw customers in than resorting to such a discount strategy.
