While trying to run:
npx nuxt-create-app, I encountered an error that kept saying, “Unexpected end of JSON input while parsing near blah blah blah …“. I’ve never come up with that error before, and therefore I didn’t have a clue of what may have gone wrong in there. Eventually, I’ve switched to Google and ran a search with the phrase ‘nuxt create app unexpected end of JSON‘;
I’ve found some StackOverflow references that tipped it may have to do with some npm caching issue and suggested cleaning up the npm cache before running
nuxt-create-app command. I did that, and it seemed to work.

npm cache clean --force doesn’t work. You should try running below commands:
npm cache clean --force npm update
If that didn’t work either, you may give it another go with the following:
npm cache clean --force npm cache verify npm i -g npm
The last command will attempt to update the local NPM installation. Hopefully, these methods will solve your problem if you ever run into a similar situation.
